Jig-So believes strongly in the value and importance of learning new skills and education in all its forms. It assists in building confidence, self-esteem and reaching your potential whether you are a child, parent, carer, staff or volunteer. It also promotes wellbeing.
Jig-So also provides placements for students studying Childcare at Coleg Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire College and Trinity St David's University.
Jig-So has received training and has experienced staff to deliver the following courses -
Basic Babies, Toddlers and School Readiness courses
Learning through a Community based activity - an Agored Cymru accredited course designed by Jig-So, based on Language and Play

Welsh language.( Facilitated by Welsh for Adults, Cered and Twf)
Every Day First Aid (In partnership with the British Red Cross.)
Parent Protect awareness sessions, Parent Protect Plus course, Parent Protect Professional and Internet Safety (In partnership with the Lucy Faithfull Foundation)

Maximising income and Universal Credit awareness sessions
Staff training is very often open to other organisations working with children and families. Jig-So staff and volunteers receive an array of training not just mandatory training such as Child Protection-Safeguarding, First Aid and Food Hygiene but much more to enhance their professional development and to ensure they consistently deliver a high quality service. Added to this Jig-So Staff also receive training from Social Services to enhance their skills in working more intensely with 1:1 families.
