Jig-So believes strongly in the value and importance of learning new skills and education in all its forms. It assists in building confidence, self-esteem and reaching your potential whether you are a child, parent, carer, staff or volunteer. It also promotes wellbeing.
Jig-So also provides placements for students studying Childcare at Coleg Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire College and Trinity St David's University.
Jig-So has received training and has experienced staff to deliver the following courses -

Learning through a Community based activity - an Agored Cymru accredited course designed by Jig-So, based on Language and Play

Maximising income and Universal Credit awareness sessions
Staff training is very often open to other organisations working with children and families. Jig-So staff and volunteers receive an array of training not just mandatory training such as Child Protection-Safeguarding, First Aid and Food Hygiene but much more to enhance their professional development and to ensure they consistently deliver a high quality service. Added to this Jig-So Staff also receive training from Social Services to enhance their skills in working more intensely with 1:1 families.
