What can we offer you?

By coming to Canolfan Plant Jig-So Children’s Centre you are offering your children the opportunity to learn and develop to reach their childhood milestones and to express and communicate in their chosen language as individuals with other children. Whether you attend our Centre or our satellite sessions in other areas our activities can prepare children for school and other pre-school settings. Jig-So provides a safe and stimulating environment in which we value and recognise that your input as child/parent/carer MATTERS TO US as an organisation and we welcome your views, ideas and feedback which contribute to our Service. Jig-So gives you as parents/carers, the opportunity to meet other local families with similar aged children. Trained and experienced Jig-So staff will be present to answer any questions you have or to signpost you to other organisations many of which Jig-So works in partnership with to seek advice, support or ideas. Below are some of the many activities and services we provide. In no particular order as they say but each will come under one or more of the following headings:

  • Safety
  • Communication and Language
  • Health and Well being
  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Physical Development
  • Community
  • A Learning Community incorporating new skills, money matters, courses and awareness sessions.
